Brelon was formed by Billy Sexton in 2010 and together with his sister, Julie, is the third generation of their family to run a construction business in Cork. Billy is a qualified carpenter by trade and studied Construction Management at CIT. His vast experience, spanning 20 years and three continents, gives him a unique insight into the industry. Billy believes passionately in continued professional development, regularly attending seminars on building regulations and innovative design to keep up to date with the latest and best ideas in the industry.
Julie holds a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology from the prestigious Edinburgh Napier University. She also boasts a Limperts Academy of Design Diploma in Interior Design. Her work with leading London developer, Barratt Developments plc, afforded her invaluable knowledge on all aspects of planning and development. She is committed to effective and creative spatial planning that keeps the client at the heart of the project.
Philip joined Brelon in 2018 and brings with him nearly forty years construction experience. A qualified Civil Engineering Technician, Philip has spent his career in siteworks management. He has worked on housing from one offs to entire estates, commercial developments, roads and civil works and utilities including gas, electricity, water and fibre optics. The addition of Philip to the team broadens our scope to tender for extra works and supervise existing projects. Philip has dealt with local authorities, Gardai, resident associations and various stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of projects.
